Upcoming MMORPG Sword of the New World: Granado Espada is featuring a limited time offer of a special unlocked character for all retail purchases of the game. These characters include Najib Sharif, Idge Imbrulia, Lorch Foruholmen, and Rescue Knight. Since Sword of the New World allows players to control more than one character at a time, this will offer a nice advantage from the start.

Najib Sharif, a leather-wearing merchant that fights with sabers, rifles, or his bare hands, will be available at Gamestop and EB Games. Idge Imbrulia is an armor crafter who can use two-handed swords or polearms and will be available at Best Buy. Lorch Foruholmen, the clever, shotgun wielder, is known for his trapping skills and is a Wal Mart exclusive. Other retailers will offer Rescue Knights; these characters can equip swords or rifles and are able to wear both leather and metal armor. They are said to be ideal in the role of the "tank" in the battle party.

The game is currently running an open beta, so for those interested, do check it out on the official game site. Keep an eye out as Sword of the New World: Granado Espada will be hitting stores next month.
