Final Fantasy

Commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Final Fantasy series, Square Enix has announced that they will be publishing Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II on the PlayStation Portable this summer in North America. Final Fantasy I has been rated E10+ by the ESRB and will be released on June 26, while Final Fantasy II has been rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB and will launch on July 24. Both games will ship with a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $29.99.

These games come with multiple new additions including all-new character art, new dungeons, full 16:9 presentation, and an updated camera view to change players' perspectives of these two games. Neither of these two games are expected to see any changes to their respective stories.

"So much has changed within the video game industry since the first console was launched, and Final Fantasy has always pushed the envelope, creating the most advanced graphics and immersive storylines possible," said Executive Producer Shinji Hashimoto. "It is amazing to see how far Final Fantasy has come in the past twenty years, and we cannot wait to continue bringing fans more Final Fantasy titles in the next twenty years."
