While the development and eventual release of Xenosaga Episode III have long been suspected, there has not been any official confirmation up until this point. Now, however, there no more need for speculation.
On his official website, voice actor Kouji Tsujitani -- known for such roles as Miroku on InuYasha -- recently mentioned that Monolith Soft has cast him as the voice of Voyager for Xenosaga Episode III. Monolith Soft, on the other hand, has yet to announce the production of the next Xenosaga title, but this doesn't come as a surprise considering the declining sales and recent internal problems the developer has been experiencing, including the departure of series masterminds Tetsuya Takahashi and Soraya Saga.
No releases of any kind have been tagged onto Xenosaga Episode III, nor has the title been designated to a specific system. Stay tuned to RPGamer for more information as it surfaces.
