Capcom's official website has provided some information regarding Mega Man Battle Network 5 Double Team for the Nintendo DS, the latest entry into the Battle Network series. Double Team is a compilation of two GBA games, Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Protoman and Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Colonel. An unknown organization of Navis have taken over the Internet. Lan and his friends decide to hack into the Dark Chip Factory in the Nebula Headquarters in order to destroy the system that creates Dark Chips and save cyberspace.

Double Team will feature some new additions to the series. Players can play Team Protoman, Team Colonel, or create their own team by choosing Navis from both exisiting teams. The dual screens will allow you to access PETs (Personal Terminals that carry your Navis), cyber maps, and wireless game play for up to four people.
