Konami, the company responsible for the famed Suikoden series, has trademarked a new title at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The entry, filed on April 18, trademarks the name "Suikoden Tactics" for use by the Konami Corporation. While previous Suikoden games have contained tactical elements, no Suikoden game has yet been produced sporting a full tactical battle system.

No game has been announced at this time to match the trademark. As always, RPGamer cautions readers that the licensing of trademarks does not necessarily lead to the development of a game.
