StellaDeus Story and Battle Details Emerge

Atlus has announced the story details of their in development strategy RPG StellaDeus. The story of StellaDeus will take place in a collapsing world, where power has become a rare commodity. Ekuwe, a religious sorority, has used ancient teachings to temporarily quell the world's decline, which has in turn saved many people of the world. But eventually people lose their will to live under Ekuwe, thus losing their power. The king of Dignis gathers those who still have energy and liberates people from the rule of Ekuwe. Sufida, the hero of the story, resides in the village near where the next wave of liberations is approaching.

The game uses what seems to be a traditional tactical RPG battle system. Each action uses up an action point (AP). Characters can learn new special attacks, abilities, and magic when reaching certain levels. Also, two characters can team up to unleash one strong attack.

StellaDeus is slated to be shipped to Japanese retailers later this year. A North American release, however, has not been confirmed.
