Atlus Doubles the DemiKids

Not so long ago, Atlus introduced the collecting/trading RPG DemiKids, which is part of the Shin Megami Tensei series. The game can be played in separate Light and Dark versions and while they are set for releases in North America, niether one has been given a specific shelf date. But even with those two games having yet to arrive over here, Atlus recently said that a pair of new versions are in the works and headed for Japan.

Entitled DemiKids: Fire Version and Ice Version, the gameplay will again revolve around the collection and trading of the many demons in the game. Whether or not the cast from the Light and Dark versions will reappear is currently unknown, but players will have the ability to import data from the two previous versions of the game. These games do not yet have an exact Japanese release date, and no mention was made of bringing them accross the Pacific. RPGamer will report, should Atlus announce other localizations of the games.
