Japanese gaming giant Enix is hard at work on a new RPG for the Game Boy Advance. Called Boshin, the game will star as its hero Masa, a 14-year-old boy. The red-haired Masa will be a unique hero, as he has been revealed to be the child of both a god and human. No mention has been made as to what impact this will have on the as yet unrevealed storyline, or what powers Masa may have as a result of his highly irregular lineage. Screenshots of the game reveal a standard overhead layout that brings to life a colorful new world, as seen below:
Enix is the company responsible for the wildly popular Dragon Quest series, which has been a continual success in Japan. Games by Enix have generally met with mixed success in North America, so a possible translation of Boshin for overseas audiences is anyone's guess at this point. RPGamer will continue to provide all the latest information on Boshin as it becomes available.
