Square of Japan's PlayOnline site is now hosting a helpful Manga Guide for the company's upcoming massively multiplayer online RPG, Final Fantasy XI. The guide consists of hints and tips for beginners to the game and MMORPG newcomers in general. It is presented in a comic, animé-style manner, creating a fun alternative to reading formal, packaged literature. Final Fantasy XI is less than a month away from release in Japan. The game will introduce the series' fans to the wide-open, non-linear world of MMORPGs with a touch of classic Final Fantasy elements. Expect the game to be released in North America later this year.
