Gust Interactive's Atelier series is already popular in Japan, and a recent announcement should help further boost its popularity in advance of the upcoming release of Atelier Lillie. Right now, the company is offering a free demo CD of the game in Japan to anyone willing to mail the request and postage to Gust's headquarters. The company will mail the disc free of charge.

The Atelier games are based around an alchemy system, and the stories in each game are centered around alchemists. Atelier Lillie is the much-anticipated third title in the series, and is scheduled for Japanese release on June 21st, 2001. There is no information regarding a North American release at this time.
