Wild Arms 2 Available Now at North American Retailers

The original Wild Arms was released to RPG-starved gamers back in May 1997, before Final Fantasy VII brought the genre straight into the mainstream. The game supplied players with action/RPG style puzzles, one of the first 3D battle engines in a console RPG, great music, plenty of interesting characters and abilities, and an intriguing storyline. Now, after nearly three years, the game's sequel, Wild Arms 2, has been released in North America for the Sony PlayStation.

Wild Arms 2 retains many aspects that will remind players of the original, but it has enough unique features to make it a new, satisfying experience. The game is completely 3D, and characters and enemies are highly detailed. The action/RPG elements return, with plenty of new puzzles and abilities. Fans of the original can expect another great soundtrack, and the storyline promises to be more intricate than that of the first. Wild Arms 2 has been rated "E" (Everyone) by the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board), and has a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $39.99. All RPG-loving PlayStation owners should do themselves a favor and check out this exciting new game.
