Crate Entertainment has announced that it plans to release a new expansion for its action RPG Grim Dawn. Titled Forgotten Gods, the expansion will have players leave the bounds of the Erulan Empire on a quest to find an awakened god in a far away land. This new chapter will add a new gameplay mode, quality of life improvements, and hundreds of new, unique items. No further details were given at this time, but Crate Entertainment plans to release it in the second half of 2018.
Grim Dawn is an isometric action RPG set in the world of Cairn, a world ravaged by an interdimensional conflict between two otherworldly races. The war left Cairn in a state of flux and decline, leaving humans beings to struggle to survive against a world of new horrors. After a successful Kickstarter, the game released on PC in 2016. Grim Dawn's first expansion, Ashes of Malmouth, released last year.
