The latest title in Nihon Falcom's long-running action RPG series, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana was initially released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2017. A PC release was initially planned for the end of January, but his has been indefinitely delayed due to technical issues. The game was also announced for release on Nintendo Switch, with that version planned for summer 2018. Those looking to read more about the game can check out Harry Papadimitriou's review of the PlayStation 4 version as well as Mike Moehnke's review of the PlayStation Vita version, both of which are based on the original localisation.
