Taiwanese RPG Xuan Yuan Sword: The Gate of Firmament is now available in North America for Xbox One. The game was originally released in Chinese in March 2015, with a multi-language Steam version released in English, Japanese, and Chinese in 2016. The Xbox One version is priced at $24.99, though a discounted price of $19.99 is available until February 8, 2018.

The Xuan Yuan Sword series is developed by Softstar's DOMO group, with its first entry released back in 1990, and incorporates elements of Chinese mythology and history. The Gate of Firmament is the sixth title of a spin-off series of games, though each release is independent story-wise, and the first single-player game in the series to be translated into English. A trailer originally released in September can be viewed below, with a more recent one viewable on the game's Steam page. The game is also available for PlayStation in English, but this Asian English version has not been released in the west.
