XSEED Games revealed the release date for Acquire's action RPG Akiba's Beat in North America and Europe. The game will arrive for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in North America on May 16, 2017, before arriving in Europe on May 19, 2017.

Akiba's Beat is a spiritual successor to the adventure title Akiba's Trip, but does not have any direct story connections. Set in Tokyo's Akibahara district, the game takes a satirical tone and sees players traverse dungeons created by the physical manifestation of people's delusions.
