Arc System Works recently announced Damascus Gear: Saikyo Exodus, a follow-up to mecha action RPG Damascus Gear: Operation Tokyo, with the game arriving in Japan this week. The game will be available in the country for PlayStation Vita tomorrow, March 22, 2017. A localisation has not been announced, but the previous game was released in North America and Europe in 2015.
Damascus Gear: Saikyo Exodus follows a new story, with a new protagonist who pilots a mecha called a Gear in order to pay off a 100 million Eyn debt. Players earn money by taking on missions and fighting against rival gears, collecting parts from enemies to upgrade their Gear, with the game featuring forty-five new Gear types and over two thousand new parts compared to its predecessor.
