Akiba's Beat will be receiving a couple of special editions when it releases in Europe. Firstly, the game's European publisher PQube announced the Limited Edition, which will be available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and, in addition to the game, will include an artbook and a special collector's box. In the UK, the Limited Edition will be available exclusively through Game.

Secondly, retailer Rice Digital revealed its exclusive NEET Edition. It will also be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and is available to preorder now for £69.99 on PlayStation 4 and £59.99 on PlayStation Vita. The NEET Edition includes the following items:

• Copy of the standard edition of Akiba's Beat for PS4 or Vita
• Akiba's Beat bag
• Soundtrack CD
• Art book
• Pinkun plushie

Akiba's Beat is developed by Japanese developer Acquire and is a spiritual successor to the adventure title Akiba's Trip. The game sees players wander around Akibahara and question its inhabitants before they dive into fantasy-themed dungeons called Delusionscapes. The PlayStation 4 version of the game was released in Japan in December 2016, with its PlayStation Vita release currently set for March 16, 2017. The game is set to be released in North America by XSEED Games in early 2017, with PQube's European release set for spring 2017.
