Atlus USA announced today that it will be bringing two titles in Aquaplus' Utawarerumono series to North America and Europe. Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in spring 2017, with its sequel Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth following for those same platforms in summer 2017. All of the North American versions and the European PlayStation 4 versions will be available physically and digitally, with the European PlayStation Vita releases to be digital-only.

Both games are visual novels/strategy RPG hybrids following the adventures of Haku, who awakens on a mountain having lost his memory. Haku is rescued by Kuon, a girl with animal ears and a tail, and soon becomes dragged into the machinations of the nation of Yamato. Mask of Deception was originally released in Japan under the subtitle Itsuwari no Kamen in 2015, with Mask of Truth released in Japan as Futari no Hakuoro in 2016.
