Sega of America released a new trailer for its upcoming western release of 7th Dragon III Code: VFD. This trailer highlights the dragons that have humanity firmly at their mercy by 2100, when the game is set. Players team up with Nodens Enterprises, who aim to travel to three important points in time to tip the balance of the conflict back in humanity's favour.

7th Dragon III Code: VFD is a turn-based dungeon-crawling RPG that also features base-building, dating aspects, and even a cat café. Players will need to venture through dungeons in three areas: the mythical kingdom of Atlantis, the futuristic capital of Eden, and present-day Tokyo.

The game is the fourth in the series and first to be localised, however, its story is standalone and does not require any knowledge of previous entries. 7th Dragon III Code: VFD is planned for release in North America for Nintendo 3DS in summer 2016. The game will available physically and digitally at a price of $39.99/CA$54.99.
