NIS America announced the release date and some special editions for its PC release of the first Disgaea game. The game will be released digitally through Steam on February 24, 2016. A special Digital Deluxe Dood Edition is available to pre-order now for $19.99/£14.99/€19.99 that includes a 46-page digital art book and 32-track digital soundtrack.

On top of the digital release, the publisher is also offering some physical goodies in the Deluxe Dood Edition. This edition contains physical versions of the aforementioned soundtrack and art book in a collector's box as well as a download code for the Digital Dood Deluxe Edition on Steam. The physical edition is available to pre-order through NIS America's North American and European stores for $29.99/£22.99. The European store is offering an option to buy the physical goods without a Steam copy of the game for £13.99.
