Koei Tecmo has provided some more media and character details for its upcoming release of Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea. This batch focuses on Shallotte's side of the game, and includes screenshots, artwork, and gameplay videos, all of which can be found below.

Shallotte Elminus is second of the two selectable main protagonists in the game, the other being Shallistera. Struggling financially, Shallotte runs her deceased father's atelier while trying to do work found by her mother, Nady, to gain some extra cash. While Shallotte is quite inexperienced in alchemy, she can ask her talented but frank childhood friend, Miruca Crotze, who studied in Central city, for advice.

Shallotte ends up finding a teacher in the form of travelling magician Wilbell Boll-Erslied. Other characters she comes across include Solle Grumman, a young man investigating the town of Stellard in order to try and establish a government office; the merchant Katla Larchica, whose wares are often less than reliable; treasure hunter Homura, a homunculus with great sword skills; and Reyfer Luckberry, who is searching for a famous pirate's treasure.

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea is due to be released in North America on March 10, 2015 and in Europe on March 13, 2015. The game will be available exclusively for PlayStation 3 through physical and digital channels.
