While many RPGamers hope for news of a Borderlands 3, 2K Games has announced the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. The collection, which will feature both Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 2 with all the DLC for both games included, marks the series first appearance on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The games will be remastered and a new four-player couch co-op mode has been revealed. Owners of the previous games in the series will be able to carry their save over from the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 as long as it is to the next iteration of the respective consoles.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will release on March 24, 2015 in North America with a European release on March 27, 2015. The title will be priced at $59.99. Gearbox will also be putting together a limited edition called the Claptrap-in-a-Box Edition, which will include a remote-controlled Claptrap that can be controlled with an app on iOS and Android devices. This edition will also include 12 lithographs and a steel case and will retail at $399. Only 5000 of the Claptrap-in-a-Box Editions will be made.
