This morning's Nintendo Direct conference included the announcement of a new Mario Brothers RPG for the 3DS. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team takes place in Luigi's dreams, allowing the cowardly little green guy to finally act like a hero.

While Mario explores Luigi's dreams, the player will be able to manipulate Luigi's sleeping face on the touch screen in order to have an effect on the dream world. Mario will also be able to summon a bunch of Luigis to deal with enemy swarms and solve puzzles. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team will be available this summer.
