It wasn't long ago that users found references to XSEED with the Steam registry and now we know why. XSEED Games is publishing two of Falcom's PC titles on Steam in North America. The company's first foray into the PC market begins with Ys: The Oath in Felghana, a game XSEED released on the PlayStation Portable in 2010. This version will feature Steamworks features such as Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud support when it releases on March 19, 2012.

That's not all, as XSEED is also releasing Ys Origin on Steam in May 2012. This is the first official English release of this game that serves as an origin story to the Ys series. This installation does not star series regular Adol, but instead focuses on the twin Goddesses and the mysterious Black Pearl from 700 years before the events of the first Ys.

These games will feature full Steam integration including Steam Cloud functionality. The Oath in Felghana will be available for $14.99 and details about Ys Origin will be available at a later date.
