Interplay Entertainment has revived Stonekeep, a first-person dungeon crawling PC RPG first released in 1995, on WiiWare. Developed by Alpine Studios, it is an entirely new game instead of a port or remake. In this game, the player takes the role of a descendant of a hero Drake from the original game who must explore the castle of Stonekeep to stop the evil force that has taken it over. Stonekeep uses motion gestures for casting magic and using weapons
Stonekeep for WiiWare is currently available on the Wii Shop Channel for 500 points. It was initially slated for a Q3 2010 release, but was delayed until now. More screenshots can be viewed here.
