New information has recently surfaced about a new game mode that is being introduced in the PSP version of Persona 2: Innocent Sin. This "Theater Mode" is accessed by going to the Climax Theater, a theater in the game world famous for the incredibly lifelike movie experience it provides. From this theater, the player can accept various optional quests and stories that are completely separate from the main storyline of the game. By undertaking these quests, the player will be able to earn valuable items, encounter demons unique to Theater Mode, and earn a better rank at the theater. What is more, new quests will be available for download from the PSN.
However, the most exciting aspect of this new system is that it will allow players to create their own quests. Players will be able to place NPCs and determine how they act, place battles, build events, and even choose what items will be rewarded from battles and events. There is no definitive word on whether players will be able to share these quests, but it is likely they will.
