Obsidian Entertainment's spy espionage RPG Alpha Protocol finally has a solid release date after numerous delays. Sega has announced that the game will be hitting this summer on June 1, 2010 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

Alpha Protocol's plot begins with the player tasked to uncover some perpetrators who are suspects behind a tragic missile attack on a passenger jetliner. With many different locations to visit, customizable skill-sets, and plenty of different weapons to collect, players can customize their spy to their play-style.

RPGamers who pre-order Alpha Protocol through GameStop will receive exclusive content titled "The Exclusive Assault Pack." This pack includes exclusive weapons and ammo, such as the UC Regulator high damage shotgun and Rittergroupen Grizzly high accuracy rifle.
