Atlus fans may be intrigued to know about the company's plans for an upcoming online space called Atlus Online. According to Jamie Ortiz, head of business operations for Atlus Online, it will not be just a web portal, but also a new full-fledged division of the company. In addition to playing games with other people, the Atlus Online community will be able to participate in contests and events.

Exactly what Atlus Online will provide is still somewhat vague, but Ortiz did say that the space will be targeted towards Atlus fans that enjoy anime. Atlus Online is currently looking at a "multiplayer online game that has tons of players in it," and Ortiz feels it will appeal to those who enjoy Atlus's console games. "It'll definitely be an Atlus-type game," Ortiz teased.
