Koei announced today that Opoona, a Wii exclusive, will be released in North America on March 25, 2008. Opoona is an action-oriented RPG that promises a unique gaming experience through solo use of the Nunchuck controller.

Debuting as what Koei calls a "Lifestyle RPG," Opoona offers gamers the chance to interact with their environment on a new level. The modern fantasy world, created by Shintaro Majima, offers a chance to develop relationships and go on adventures.

Opoona is rated E10+ by the ESRB, and will feature music from composer Hitoshi Sakimoto from such games as Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Odin Sphere. Also contributing are art director Shintaro Majima and planning director Sachiko Sugimura.
