During its Gamer's Day event, Konami announced the development of Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for the PlayStation Portable. It is a 3D remake of the highly acclaimed Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, which never saw release in North America. The UMD will also contain the original version and a port of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night as unlockable extras when it hits shelves sometime this year.

It should be noted that this is not the only upcoming port of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It is also scheduled for release on Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade on February 10th.
