With a release date sometime in April, gamers now have an idea as to when they will get to dive into the next game in the Paper Mario series, Super Paper Mario. The story takes you to the town of Flipside, where a black hole threatens the inhabitants, along with ominous floating math equations.
The game is played by holding the Wii remote sideways, like the classic Nintendo controller. Later in the game, you gain access to special abilities that will use the remote's motion-sense to perform. A butterfly named Tippy follows you around, and when you point the remote at the screen, can reveal hidden doors and items.
The graphics have been enhanced since the game was first shown at E3, and the game will feature both 2D and 3D environments to explore. More info as it comes.
