Gamers left in the dark since the annoucement of a PS3 and PSP launch of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion now have the opportunity at a preview at what these incarnations have to offer. New details for these versions were released in an exclusive first-look story in Official PlayStation Magazine last week.
Oblivion for the PlayStation 3 will introduce a new, readily available faction called the 'Knights of the Nine' that are labeled by developers as "the good Dark Brotherhood." Executive producer, Todd Howard explains: "Oblivion has these really good character archetypes for evil. It has the Dark Brotherhood: you get your outfit, you feel like an evil guy [and] you role-play like an evil guy. We [didn't] have the opposite end of that. There [was] little reward for being a goody two-shoes."
Additionally, the PSP version of Oblivion, Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion, will have gameplay similar to its cousins. However, the game will take place in a different setting.
