Atari announced today that the English language version of Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach has officially launched in Europe. Localized German and French versions of Stormreach are scheduled to launch on March 23 and March 24 respectively. Codemasters will be assisting Atari and Turbine in bringing the game to European gamers.
Also, a special European Limited Edition will be available at select retailers. Along with special "aged-effect" packaging, the Limited Edition contains the full game, a special guest pass to invite a friend to play Stormreach for five days, two compact discs containing artwork and music from the game, an A3-sized full color poster, and two collectible miniature Dungeons & Dragons figurines. Also included is a playable demo of Atari's recently released PC title, Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard.
Atari also announced an "advance head start program" for German and French gamers who put down their money on pre-orders of Stormreach. Those who do can gain access into the live localized game and begin playing on March 17, a full week before the public launch date. No official pricing for the game has been released at this time.
Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach was officially launched in North America on February 28.
