Drakengard Spreads Its Wings

With the release of Drakengard just around the corner, Square Enix is attempting to cultivate interest in the game with a special promotional campaign. The company has updated the official Drakengard website with information to give visitors a preview of this upcoming high-flying PS2 adventure. In addition, EBGames.com is offering free Drakengard demos to anyone who preorders the game, and Gamestop.com promises to deliver the same demo with a purchase of any PS2 title. The demo also contains previews for Final Fantasy XI and Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.

Drakengard was released last September in Japan, and the title will arrive in North American stores on March 2 as the first Square Enix release of 2004. Drakengard is rated "M," a designation that is rare among Square Enix titles.
