Drakengard Prepares to Soar Overseas

Square Enix has revealed the release date for Drakengard, known as Drag-on Dragoon in Japan. The title should arrive in stores on March 2, 2004, and will bear the distinction of being the first release for Square Enix in 2004.

Drakengard is an action RPG with strong role-playing elements including character growth and an in-depth storyline. Coupled with entertaining gameplay and dragon-fighting action, these elements combine to create "a perfect hybrid of genres," according to Jun Iwasaki, president and C.E.O of Square Enix. Iwasaki's allegedly immaculate cross-genre effort will carry a suggested price tag of $39.99 US.
