Shadow Hearts II Receives Cell-Phonic Treatment

A cell-phone based fan club website has been implemented by Aruze for its upcoming PlayStation 2 RPG, Shadow Hearts II. The site is cell-phone based due to its accessibility from the three top cell-phone service providers of Japan, NTT DoCoMo, KDDI and Vodafone, respectively. Some features offered by the site are ringtones and wallpaper downloadable to a cell-phone. A catalog listing of Shadow Hearts merchandise is also viewable on the site.

The actual Shadow Hearts II game will be available in Japan on February 19. Two editions are to be released, one version standard, and one version with a special edition DX Bag and DVD, as well as two judgement ring coasters. Shadow Hearts II, developed by Nautilus, places its setting in 1915 in France, during World War I. No news was given if Shadow Hearts II will be available in North America.
