More information about Venus & Braves has come to light, concerning the various systems that will be at work in the game. Two of these have already been revealed; it has been known for some time that characters will be able to marry and have children, and the presence of summons in the game is a foregone conclusion as well. These systems, known as the Gestalt and Summon systems respectively, will impact greatly upon the game's outcome, as the use of summons will be key in battle. As some characters in the game are immortal, it is probable that the childbearing will be restricted to the mortal characters, as a means of providing some continuity in the ranks of the staple party members.

The third system to be revealed is the Prophesy System, which will give players the option of following prophesy, or trying to change their destinies in contravention of legend. Whether or not it is more difficult to change fate or to abide by its rules is not clear, but it is likely that it will vary depending upon the situation.

Namco has been releasing a steady flow of information in advance of Venus & Braves' release date, currently slated for February 13 in Japan. The game will sell there for a suggested price of 6800 yen, or just shy of $58.00 US. There has been no mention of whether or not the title will see the light of day in North America.
