Several retailers recently revealed tentative details about the North American launch of From Software's upcoming GameCube RPG. To be published in Japan as Rune, the game will be renamed as Lost Kingdoms for its domestic release. Activision has been named as the publisher. Surprisingly, the game will be released in North America on May 15th, less than a month after its Japanese launch.

Representing one of the first RPGs for the GameCube, Rune takes players into a mythical world in which card monsters are used to combat the oncoming foe of darkness. The game will be released in Japan on April 25th. Stay tuned to RPGamer for the latest on this title.
