Nexon Announces Dark Ages Update
Dark Ages

Massively multiplayer online role-playing games are all the rage these days, and U.S. developer Nexon is no stranger to the genre. The company, which was responsible for both Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds and Shattered Galaxy, has announced an update to its current title, Dark Ages: Online Roleplaying.

Dark Ages stars you and a couple thousand other gamers who inhabit a Gaelic/Lovecraftian persistent online world. One of the more unique aspects of the title is the ability to take characters on a virtual voyage to new servers where the merriment continues unabated.

Getting used to the rich world might seem a tad intimidating to newcomers, but the developers have included a virtual online college and library to shorten the acclimatization period. Gamers can expect to experience a real civilization and all that it encompasses, including political rivalries, various religious happenings and, of course, commerce.

In the most recent update, version 4.51, Nexon has updated the servers to allow increased game client stability. In addition, gamers will be able to customize their avatars a little more, with 40 new hairstyles and ten new character expressions and emotions.

Check back later with us as Nexon releases more information regarding its online projects.
