The Japanese release date for the next installment of Capcom's serial Dreamcast RPG, El Dorado's Gate has been set. The series, which is divided into 24 parts, is released on a bi-monthly schedule. Little information about the fourth installment is available as yet, but if the previous three volumes are any indication, it will probably encompass 2 to 3 chapters of the story.
El Dorado's Gate will be released in Japan on April 12, 2001, which is a bit of a break from their previous dating scheme, which saw games released on dates matching the month of release(for example, Volume 3 was in stores on February 2nd, or 02/02). The game will retail for 2800 yen(almost $25.00 American), regardless of breaks in tradition; however, no North American release has been announced at this point.
