Emblem Saga Delayed

Enterbrain has announced the postponement of their SRPG Emblem Saga, marking the second delay of a PlayStation title this week, after Super Robot Taisen Alpha Gaiden was pushed back a week two days ago. This will be a much longer delay than that experienced by Super Robot Taisen Alpha Gaiden, however; Enterbrain has stated they will now be releasing the game on May 24th in Japan, as opposed to the date they originally planned, March 29th. The company cited a desire to improve the game's quality and include additional scenarios in the game as the reasons for the delay.

As Emblem Saga will now be released in May, Enterbrain's planned reservation campaign to drum up sales before the title's release has also been stalled from mid-February until April 19th, when the game will be available for preorder in Japan. At this time, no mention has been made of a North American release; with the game being delayed, there is, unfortunately, no reason to expect such an announcement any time soon.
