01.26.01 - Andalucia Right on, back on time, and back on track. This update is dedicated to Olin "That's how human's do it" Browne.
Most Wanted Here we have the inagural run of the Most Wanted section. In this section will be the top fan requested games for our contributors to remix/sequence/track/compose songs for. It's too hard to list all of the individual 'most wanteds' so this section will feature game titles instead of individual songs. I can envision posting a most wanted for 'Radical Dreamers' from Chrono Cross and then getting 75 midi's the following week. I think this section will be helpful for our contributors as an interactive sounding board for what the fans want to see them crank out. So then, without further ado, I give you...

MP3 Remixes
"Fighting For The Spirit" Takami wouldn't let me feature this song unless I expressed his discomfort with how the guitar sample turned out. So, there it is. Now go listen to it!
"Magus' Theme" Daknit definately has some flair with the techno skillz. Some deadly trippy stuff here. Highly reccomended for you techno junkies out there.
"Lena On The Beach" This is an awesome example of orchestration. Not predominant enough to drown the OST feeling, but definately fills in the gaps where orchestration is called for. Great job Calevera!
Midi Composition
"Dead Sea, Ruined Tower" Great sequencing here. Uncanny likeness to the OST. I personally love this tune. Thanks for the contribution Avaine.
"Battle Theme" Great, now I'll have this song in my head for the next few days. Great sequencing, lots of instruments at once.
"Piano Theme" Here we have an advanced look at some Final Fantasy X music. This is the song heard from the trailer at the Jump Conference. Sounds promising! Thanks to Peter Shultz for his contribution.
Digital Music
"Jenova (NES Mix)" Egads! It's a new Mega Man enemy! JenovaMan! Run! AHHH! ;)
| Creation Tips No Creation Tips for this week. :P | Current Competitions There are no current competitions. Wah. | Weekly Silliness My god, you people impress me. I guess we have established that Metal is still more uncommon than soundtracks to (excuse the lack of a better term) Performance Art. Last weeks song came from the soundtrack to Cirque Du Soleil's "Dralion." Mega hearty kudos to the following people:
Nate Dunn Shosetsu Citizen Bob Otaku 5 16
Man, you people never cease to amaze me. Now, I expect some of you to know this week's title. These performers are a little more commonly known than the almighty Cirque Du Soleil. Good luck! | AIM - Nightside0 ICQ - 67704601 Matt Scipione | |
