Minutes ago, the Nintendo Revolution saw its debut at the Nintendo Press Conference in LA, a day before the E3 show begins. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata was quoted as saying, "We will show the world what a next-gen system can be."

The officially-named Revolution boasts a "cool look" complete with multiple colors that will be shown at E3 this year. The Revolution also promises backwards compatibility with all current GameCube titles. That is not all the Revolution can play, however, as the Revolution will allow players to download 20 years worth of titles spanning back all the way to the classic NES, Nintendo Entertainment Center.

The system itself will have 512 MB internal flash member, wireless controllers, two USB 2.0 powers, and built-in Wi-Fi access. The core of the system is a processing chip nicknamed "Broadway" and an ATI graphics chip nicknamed "Hollywood."
