LucasArts and RPGamer got together with LucasArts for an exclusive meeting in which we discussed the company's upcoming RPGs. Easily the most impressive of the bunch was Star Wars Galaxies, the first massively multiplayer Star Wars title. The game is in its last stage of beta testing, and it shouldn't be too much longer before it's ready for its official PC release.

The graphics are smooth, and everything looks crisp and realistic. Landscapes are dotted with decorative trees and vegetation, and the architecture is definitely done in studied Star Wars style. Character models are also true to Star Wars races, and their actions are fluid and true to life.

The gameplay is action-packed, and there is virtually no delay between attacks. Players can develop their characters in any way they see fit, and eventually, they may even reach Jedi Knight status, which are among the highest ranking characters in the game. There is also plenty of opportunity for the community experiences, with towns full of taverns and social events.
