Wow, this connectivity thing that Nintendo is pushing seems quite
effective in this case. I enjoyed my experience with this game, and look
forward to more as I get access to the game when it comes out.
I came in second place in the game I played, collecting slightly fewer
rupees, more monsters, and less bushes than the first place player.
Before you turn away in disgust, the bushes were a random addition to the
score that is determined at the end of each round.
The gameplay was what one would expect of a Zelda game that involved a
GameBoy, simple, but fun. You did not get to use multiple different
weapons, just your sword and whatever single special weapon you picked up.
I started off with the bow, and soon got the speed boots. There were
areas that required all four players to work together, and areas that one
could go off and find treasure and such by themselves. The final boss
of our heat did require teamwork as we had to set off some lights to
make it visible so we could kill it.
To put it simply, I very much enjoyed this game, and look forward to
its release.
