I can't tell you how much I love games like Diablo and Phantasy Star Online. I love sitting around with my friends and all of us going through these games together. That being said, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is the new ultimate party RPG.

The downside of playing this game at E3 is that half the time you are playing with perfect strangers. Strangers have this unfortunate habit of not being as communicative or helpful as friends, and despite my pleas, sometimes getting healing or reviving was rather difficult. That shouldn't be a problem when playing with friends, though.

The use of the GBA screen is quite intuitive. You can change out skills and inventory with a few quick actions, but you won't interrupt the other players. The map is also handy if you happen to be separated from your group. The boss fights are difficult and require teamwork, which is why myself and the strangers died. Overall, this game is going to be quite fun, but I don't know how much so for the single player experience.
