Macstorm is an evil man. After a week of debate over Twitter, somehow I caved to peer pressure and now I own a copy of Final Fantasy XII. Seriously, I gave up on Final Fantasy years ago, so why I have this in my possession is absolutely baffling. But you know what? After playing roughly two hours of it, it's not bad. I say not bad because there are things I'm getting use to like the combat system. Vaan (even though he is thankfully not the main character) is one of the most dreadful heroes I've ever been stuck with in a game. He really rubs me the wrong way. However, I do like the idea of T-Rexs going stompy and Rogue Tomatoes trying to give me a hard time.
We have two staff editorials this week, one by JuMeSyn and another that evil man known as Macstorm. JuMeSyn writes about how hype can hurt and why sometimes it's safer not to get on the "hype-train." Meanwhile, Macstorm discusses how he has faith that he will enjoy Final Fantasy XIII. Both of these make some really good points, so hopefully you guys have some good and constructive responses. No "DUUUR YOUR A TOOL!" crap. Which thankfully, no one does. I
just wanted an excuse to type DUUUUR TOOL for the sake of doing it.
And now, time to go enjoy more Final Fantasy XII. See, I don't hate it!
