Welcome to RPGamer's second giveaway for the PlayStation 2 console. Our friends at Sony have been kind enough to supply us with a retail copy of Dark Cloud for PlayStation 2, which we in turn want to give to one of you.

So, want to play Sony's latest RPG? Sure you do. The contest will be as follows. As you know, Dark Cloud requires you to search randomly generated dungeons. RPGamer wants to know why random dungeons are still popular after so many years. That's where you come in. Tell us what still draws you to these games. Entries should be between 500-1000 words, but length is not as important as content.

Send your entries to Contest@rpgamer.com. Be sure to include your First Name, Last Name, and email address (If entrant is under the age of 18, entry must be made by parent or legal guardian). Entries must be attached to the email, as a text document.

Official Contest rules:

1) All entries must be sent to the specified e-mail address in the above direction by 11:59 PM PST on June 22, 2001. Limit of one entry per person; repeat entries will be disqualified.

2) Prize will be awarded according to RPGamer's criteria, which includes, but is not limited to, coherency, quaility, spelling, grammar, and overall impact. Prize is as follows:

Contest begins Sunday, June 10, 2001 and continues until Friday, June 22, 2001. A list of winners will be posted on http://www.rpgamer.com no later than 6:00 PM Pacific on Monday, July 27, 2001. Chances of winning depend upon the number of contest entries.

Winners will be notified via e-mail by Sunday, June 24, 2001. Winners will be required to reply to the e-mail within seven (7) business days, including his/her mailing information, or forfeit the prize. Except where prohibited, by accepting said prize, winners consent to the use of his/her name for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of prizes. All prizes will be awarded. No cash or other substitution for prizes except at the option of RPGamer, for a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes won by minors will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian.
