   and Chaze again

Googleshng - January 13 '04- 2:00 Eastern Standard Time

Well, there was a good deal of lag between the Qing and the Aing today, but here we go!

Chaze: Its that time again kiddies. Since I've been awake for a grand total of...oh, twenty minutes, I'll let Google here barrage you with witty banter whilst I brush my teeth and make myself presentable to the general public.

"ZERO ONE ZERO ONE ZERO ONE ZERO ONE ZERO ONE ZERO ONE...!"

Just because people who don't understand binary tick me off...

To LockeZ, who said: "Final Fantasy 1011 is Final Fantasy 12 in binary." in the letters for January 10th.

No, it's not. It's Final Fantasy 11.

Quick lesson:
1000 = 8
1001 = 9
1010 = 10
1011 = 11
1100 = 12.

Now I will go try to sleep with a binary-encoded decimal clock glowing in my room.

Chaze:
I never was much of a binary buff, but for some reason I am reminded of an episode of Futurama where Bender is having a nightmare... and (oh my god...) "I thought I saw a 2!"

(Random and pointless? Yup.)

Googleshng:
Ah, but when computers are involved, we frequently begin our lists with 0. So if we assume the original Final Fantasy to be FF0, that makes FF2 1, FF3 10, etc. etc. until we hit FF12 at 1011.

Incidently, if you count on your fingers, you can get up to 1023 if you go binary instead of base ten. Hurts your fingers though in a few places, and at 4 you give someone the finger.

This is one of those days where people are all silly.

Yesterday at school, my friends and I all stood'round in a circle and sang songs, and then we danced, thus proving the point made in Napalm and Silly Putty that if people stand around in a circle, eventually they will begin to dance.

S. Netzach,
who likes telling random people random things.

Chaze:
Hmmm.... so that explains the feeling of almost being summoned yesterday. Give it a little more work and I think your friends and you should have the nesscary MP to summon me. Keep trying, the princess is in another castle.

Googleshng:
Thank you Chaze for making this relate to RPGs.

Hi, so we meet again. Quick question I seek an answer to if you would be so kind........

What do you think of CIMA:The enemy? Looks like a nice game graphically and looks too unique to understand the gameplay from a screenshot?

This is what I think about this.......goggle boo shin ma bees bongo review for CIMA ban boo!

Chaze:
Well, having never heard of this before, I waddled over to the Natsume website to take a peak at this...

My conclusion, from what I can tell, this game is possibly pushing the hardware of the GBA to its limits. The rich colors and Stargate-esque storyline could be very interesting if pulled off properly. I note that the release date was Fall 2003, so I have to wonder if it has been released yet or not... hmm... 'nother one for the old wishlist.

Googleshng:
... I sure hope that hardware pushing comment was sarcasm.

Anyway though, underwhelming graphics aside, what little information there is on Cima there doesn't really appeal to me. So I'll be giving that one a miss.

The Last Laugh:

Chaze: Short column... hmm, oh well. The offers keep rolling in, and I don't know who to take! Devil May Cry 2, .hack//Infection, RPGMaker 2.... BWAH! WHAT DO I DO?!?! *twitches*

Oh... wait... I think I'm being summoned again. Blargh, more innocents to slaughter.

Google: Well, try to pick one quick. The little step of making sure the last host got the game can slow things down if it doesn't get sent out until after your stint ends.

Googleshng "I don't like girls who lay eggs." @rpgamer.com

That's just such a bizarre statement to make.
