[06/29/2004] On to the next big thing, I guess. This is Amish, and this will be my last update until at least September, as I am off to Japan as a counselor for an English Immersion camp in the Nagoya area.
It's hard to believe that I started with the site over two years ago, and since then, both this section and the site as a whole have grown considerably. Perhaps most importantly, the site has served as a great gathering place for people who our interested in our particular subculture niche: that being the realm of RPGs. The medium has certainly progressed since I first played the original Dragon Warrior in 1990.
I'm happy to say that the section will be in good hands when I'm gone. Simon has been helping out with both conversion of text reviews and the actual coding of the update, and he will be keeping the section going along with Zack, RPGamer's current Head of Interaction.
Well, that's it. This is by no means a permanent goodbye as the title of the update may proclaim, but considering how closely involved I've been with the section (and the consistent access to internet connections, for that matter), it's as formal of a goodbye as any.
Best of luck to everyone.
